There is a 3 night minimum stay in the lodge during the MLK Jr. weekend, Presidents’ weekend, Memorial Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend. Otherwise, the Inn has no minimum stay requirement.
INCLUDED FACILITIES: Room rates include the use of all common area facilities, including a free Ethernet connection in the library and free wireless internet service, use of the outdoor hot tub and sauna, use of the workout facility, tennis court and squash court, and free movie rentals. In the summer, you can also use the outdoor heated swimming pool. Meal packages can be included during the ski season and are required on holidays. We have a coin operated washer and dryer in our MAC facility for use by guests. Access points for the free WIFI wireless access are from within our Main Lodge building, including the dining room, common room/library, and the A/B/C guest rooms.
There is a three night minimum stay in the cabins during holiday periods, but otherwise the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Meals are not included in cabin rentals, but renters are invited to eat at the Inn’s restaurant (reservations recommended – call 509-996-2681). Discount does not apply to alcohol, and is subject to prior reservation (if required) and availability.
Use of the Mazama Country Inn’s guest facilities is also not included in cabin rentals. However, the pool, tennis court, and workout facility are each available for a nominal fee.
Both (cabins and lodge rooms)
DEPOSITS: We take 30% of the total cost of your reservation (minimum: the cost of one night’s lodging) as a deposit at the time of reservation. Sales tax is charged on the deposit.
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER CARD, or a personal check.
CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your reservation at any time up to 30 days in advance for a refund of your deposit less 10% (to cover credit card and handling charges). If you cancel between 30 days and 14 days before your scheduled arrival, you will forfeit 100% of your original deposit, and if you cancel after that you are responsible for 100% of the original reservation cost. If we are able to re-rent any part of your original reservation, we will refund that portion of the original reservation cost, less a 10% handling charge. Cancellations must be made by US mail or phone. NO E-MAIL CANCELLATIONS, please. Re-booking is considered under special circumstances, but generally not cancellations due to weather or cancellations of reservations during holiday periods.
WEATHER: The Mazama Country Inn is not responsible for weather or road conditions at your starting point, in Mazama, or anywhere on your route. We are not responsible for too much nor too little snow, rain, wind, smoke, or other conditions. However, if all mountain passes are closed by the Washington State Department of Transportation, we will allow rescheduling. If you are concerned about your trip being interrupted, we suggest that you look into trip insurance.
DRIVING TIME: Driving time from Seattle via Highway 20 is 3-1/2 to 4 hours, and over I-90/Hwy 97 or Highway 2 is about 5 hours. Time from Spokane is around 4 hours. During the “winter”, Highway 20 is closed (usually November through late April/early May). You may call our office (800-843-7951) to check for current conditions, or visit our website for pass conditions.
CHECK IN: Check in time is 3 pm. Check out is 11:00 am. (However, the Siskun Song and Firefly cabins have a check in of 4 pm.) Exceptions should be arranged through the Inn office in advance.
SMOKING and PET POLICY: All of our facilities and rental cabins are non-smoking. No pets are allowed in the Inn, but several of our rental cabins do allow pets.
